کوپلینگ پلیمری چینیQSD32 WZB-YRC يك قطعه الكترونيكي است كه به منظور اتصال دو شفت براي انتقال قدرت طراحي شده است. به طور معمول کوپلینگ ها در حین عملکرد به شفت ها اجازه ی جدا شدن نمی دهند گرچه کوپلینگ های محدود کننده ی گشتاور می توانند زمانی که میزان گشتاور از حدی بالاتر برود دچار لغزش و یا جدایی شوند .

هدف اولیه ی کوپلینگ ها این است که دو قطعه ی دوار را به هم متصل کنند و در عین حال که اجازه انحرافاتی را به آنها می دهند. با انتخاب، نصب و نگهداری دقیق کوپلینگ ها می توان صرفه جویی زیادی در هزینه نگهداری و زمان خروج از کارکرد به عمل آورد.

کوپلینگ:

کوپلینگ یک المان مکانیکی است اما این تنها بخشی از تعریف آن می باشد.  در مورد نقش و وظایف این المان باید گفت که به صورت خلاصه چهار وظیفه را به عهده دارد . : انتقال قدرت، اصلاح عدم انطباق محورها، جذب ارتعاشات و جلوگیری از انتقال حرارت موتور .

کوپلینگ COUPLING وسیله ای برای محور کردن موتور و شفت پمپ می باشد کوپلینگ ها در حقیقت برای موتورهای سانتری فیوژ . ، پمپ های سانتری فیوژ ، پمپ کلوز (pomp close) که شفت و موتور به صورت کسری قرار دارد توسط کوپلینگ متصل می باشد .

کوپلینگ  (Coupling) ها نوعی اتصال هستند که از آن­ها برای متصل کردن دو لولۀ هم سایز استفاده می­‌شود. این نوع اتصال ها آب بندی مناسبی ایجاد می­‌کنند و میزان نشتی را به طور محسوسی کاهش می­‌دهند .

کوپلینگ‌ ها در مواقعی که لوله دچار خوردگی و یا آسیب دیدگی شده است استفاده می‌شوند تا نشتی سیستم برطرف شود. همچنین از آن­ها به جای اتصالات جوشی یا فلنجی برای اتصال دو لوله استفاده می­‌شود. کوپلینگ ترمزدار جهت اتصال لوله‌ها به یکدیگر استفاده می‌شود .

از آنجا که در زمان اجرای لوله‌کشی فاضلاب ساختمان، بیشتر به لوله‌هایی با ابعاد مختلف جهت اتصال به یکدیگر نیاز است،بنابراین بعضی از افراد برای ایجاد کوپله‌های بیشتر اقدام به حرارت دادن لوله‌ها به صورت دستی و غیر اصولی می‌نمایند .
